MIAMI (February 21, 2012) – Carnival is celebrating the debut of the new Carnival Breeze with a travel agent booking sweepstakes tied to the ship’s Europe program which will operate from June to October 2012.
For every online Carnival Breeze booking made on a Europe sailing, travel agents may enter to win a grand prize seven-day Carnival cruise for two or one of 50 runner-up prizes of MasterCard gift cards worth $50 each.
Each online reservation counts as an entry so the more bookings travel agents make, the more opportunities they have to win. Qualifying bookings are automatically entered into the sweepstakes which runs through April 15.
“Our sales team is working closely with agents in the field to build excitement for Carnival Breeze, which boasts some of the best features available in Europe this summer and fall,” said Joni Rein, vice president of worldwide sales. “From Fun Ship 2.0 to new design features and incredible itineraries, there’s an array of key selling points for this ship. The sweepstakes is an added way of infusing some fun into the selling process for agents.”
The 130,000-ton Carnival Breeze is set to debut in June 2012 and will be the first ship to offer all of the new entertainment offerings that are part of the line’s Fun Ship 2.0 enhancement initiative. In addition, the ship will introduce stunning Caribbean-inspired interiors created by Germany-based Partner Ship Design.
Following an inaugural 12-day cruise from Venice departing June 3, 2012, the ship will operate a series of 12-day Mediterranean voyages from Barcelona through October 25, 2012.
