Seattle, Wash., April 1, 2013 — Holland America Line hosted a fundraiser luncheon aboard ms Ryndam on Monday, March 18, 2013, at the Port of Tampa in Florida for Shriners Hospitals for Children, one of the company’s community partners. During their “Lucky in Love with our Donors” St. Patrick’s Day-themed event and auction, Shriners raised approximately $15,000 for the nonprofit organization.

“We truly appreciate the wonderful support of our donors and volunteers,” said Alicia Argiz Lyons, development and marketing director for the Shriners Hospitals for Children – Tampa, “and are grateful to Holland America Line for hosting this lovely lunch that allowed us to increase awareness and raise funds for our health care system.”

Following the luncheon, guests were invited to performances arranged by both Shriners Hospitals and Holland America Line in the ship’s main show lounge.
