Costa Cruises is saying Grazie Mille! — Italian for Thanks a million! — to travel partners with its latest appreciation gratuity program that offers agents an opportunity to earn gift cards and a free Costa cruise based on their Costa bookings.

With the Grazie Mille Partner Gratuity Plan agents can register online to begin earning points based on cruise bookings that can be redeemed for a $50 gift card and enter drawings for $50 or $100 gift cards.

“A gratuity is a gesture of thanks for an individual’s extra effort, and the Grazie Mille program pays tribute to our travel agent partners by thanking them with bonus rewards for booking a Costa cruise,” said Scott Knutson, vice president of sales and marketing for Costa Cruises North America. “Costa’s travel agent partners provide dedicated and enthusiastic support, and without them we wouldn’t be a successful cruise line.”

Points are awarded based on the length of a cruise booking, regardless of occupancy. Each cruise earns 100 points per night, and bookings of 12 nights or more are eligible to receive additional bonus points. Agents will receive 500 bonus points for 12- to 25-night cruises, 1,000 for 26- to 45-night cruises and 2,500 for 46- to 90-night cruises.

Agents can start earning unlimited gift cards at 3,500 points, and they can redeem them in increments of $50 to spend as they choose. All registered agents also will be entered in a monthly flash drawing for a $50 gift card and a quarterly drawing for a $100 gift card.

The annual top seller who earns the most points over a year will get to enjoy la dolce vita for themselves in a veranda cabin on a Costa cruise and a $300 onboard credit.

Agents can register by visiting www.travelagentuniversity.com/user/register. Select the “Rewards” page, then Costa Cruises for complete details.
