Rates start as low as $43 per person, per day on balcony cabins

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (April 13, 2015) — With exceptional rates, reduced deposits, instant upgrades and onboard credits, the only question when choosing a Costa Cruises vacation is whether to leave “Now or Later.” The Italian-flagged cruise line’s latest offer features spring and summer western Mediterranean sailings aboard Costa Fortuna and Costa Diadema, including balcony cabins for as low as $43 per person, per day.

“Spring and summer are ideal times to enjoy Europe, and the ‘Now or Later’ offers make it a perfect time to book a Costa cruise,” said Scott Knutson, vice president of sales and marketing for Costa Cruises North America. “Combine our savings with the strong performance of the dollar and the affordability of international airfare, and we think the question becomes not if but when.”

Guests ready to book now on a last-minute cruise vacation can take advantage of rates starting at $349 per person, double occupancy — which comes to $43 per day — and receive a complimentary upgrade to a balcony cabin when booking an interior cabin on Costa Fortuna’s seven-night, roundtrip Barcelona, Spain, itineraries. The ship calls at Civitavecchia (Rome) and Savona, Italy; Cagliari, Sardinia; Marseille, France; and La Valletta, Malta, departing April 19 and 26; and May 3 and 10, 2015.

Roundtrip Savona, Italy, summer sailings on Costa Diadema are ideal for guests who want to cruise a little later. The line is offering 50 percent reduced deposits and up to $400 in onboard credits on 10 departures in June, July and August.
